Kiki came into our lives in December 1999. My cat, Annie, died the day after Christmas that year and I was just heartbroken to lose her. She was 15 and had been my best companion during a lot of hard times for me. Sometimes she was the only friend I had. Bob felt so badly that I was sad and suggested we take a look at the local animal shelter. We found Kiki who had been there for over a week, had just been spayed and had already had a litter of kittens at 9 months!
Kiki is the sweetest, most loving cat I have ever been around. Don't get me wrong, she is all cat - likes to chase balls, strings, playmice and loves her catnip. But she is also very loving and loyal to us both. We spoil her rotten. She has a 15-gallon fish tank which is her television. She has her own chair complete with afghan on it in our computer room. She has elaborate cat furniture. We are constantly on the look for some interesting toy she can play with. She is simply our fur-baby!
